Nexus - Altona

Nexus Industrial Estate Altona is a 40ha site of industrial-zoned land adjacent to the Melbourne – Geelong freight rail corridor. The Estate currently houses the 5 hectare Maersk container park which has a capacity for approximately 6,500 TEU, and is recognised as the most efficient facility of its type in Victoria. A permitted HPFV route destination, the Nexus Industrial Estate, in Altona will also have standard gauge rail connection from the proposed Intermodal Terminal to the Port of Melbourne. The latest addition to the Estate is the purpose built facility for ACFS at 42 Modal Place that includes a 25,000sqm warehouse and 33,000sqm hardstand for containers.
