Industry Lanes, Salta Properties’ thriving commercial precinct within Melbourne’s inner-city fringe, has now been fully leased, boasting an impressive list of tenants.

Salta Properties and Abacus Property Group’s 5 Star Green Star – Design Certified Industry Lanes in Richmond is a 20,000 sqm world-class campus-style precinct, comprising three buildings with frontages to Church, Shamrock and Brighton Streets.

Industry Lanes boasts hotel standard end-of-trip facilities, expansive terraces, and an open-air communal courtyard which ties the three buildings together.

Salta Properties Managing Director Sam Tarascio attributes the success of the development located at 459-471 Church Street to Salta’s commitment to providing convenient, amenity-rich working environments.

The development being fully leased reinforces our confidence in Melbourne’s inner-city fringe and demonstrates the strength of our unique commercial offering. This is an incredible milestone to reach at Industry Lanes.

Sam Tarascio, Managing Director

“The exciting list of tenants is indicative of our investment into top-tier amenity and providing tailored workplace solutions.

Industry Lanes is highly tech-savvy with agile workspaces and breakout zones for the modern employee. It heralds a new era of office development in Richmond and captures the very essence of what is a stylish, contemporary workspace in today’s design landscape.”

Adding to the state-of-the-art amenities, immersive fitness experience 1R Australia occupies the ground and basement levels while Hub, the largest privately-owned flexible workspace provider in Australia, occupies 3,000 sqm on the fourth and fifth floors.

“We thank our impressive team and agents who have worked tirelessly to promote the benefits of Industry Lanes which has resulted in the full house,” Mr Tarascio added.

One of the first to sign on to the Industry Lanes precinct was Melbourne real estate agency Jellis Craig, which secured prime residency on level 4 of Building B for its corporate head office.

Jellis Craig CEO Nick Dowling said the quality of the building and the best-in-class amenities were the two biggest factors that his team was looking for in its new space.

“Richmond is a vibrant village-like suburb with some of the best gyms, cafes, bars and shops,” Mr Dowling said.

“It was important that our new home was both central and convenient but also that we would be surrounded by the energy of Richmond. Another aspect that drew us to Industry Lanes was its commitment to creating a truly sustainable building.”

Italian designer furniture and kitchen company Molteni &Co occupies the ground floor, with 550 sqm of retail space dedicated to its Australian flagship showroom.

Pharmaceutical company Arrotex has signed on for five years and occupy over 6,000 sqm across two buildings.

Multinational communications and advertising agency M&C Saatchi has taken residency on level 6 of Building A. Operations Manager Selena Pomorin said she is delighted to have Industry Lanes as a new hub for several of the M&C Saatchi Group capabilities.

“What drew us to Industry Lanes was the mix of large and small commercial and retail spaces, open air courtyards, shared work zones and A-grade communal amenities,” Ms Pomorin said.

Also in Building A is Australian drinks and hospitality business Endeavour, consulting firm Johnson Partners, Icon Construction and media agency Half Dome on level 8 boasting impressive views.

The entire top floor of Building B has been leased by global investment fund C&D Capital. Another high-profile tenant in Building B is the international learning company, Pearson.

Almost French Early Learning Centre is an immersive bilingual childcare facility which occupies all of Building C on a 15-year lease with indoor and outdoor facilities purposefully designed to create the perfect environment for children to explore, discover, create and imagine with their peers.

“The appeal of Industry Lanes to world leading companies demonstrates how businesses are moving towards developments that can tailor sustainable solutions, cater to business expansion and employee demands.

“It has been fantastic to welcome our wide range of new tenants and their employees and watch this unique precinct come to life. We look forward to providing future commercial opportunities across Melbourne’s city fringe in the near future,” Mr Tarascio concluded.
