Celebrating our inaugural Salta Summit

On Wednesday last week, Salta was excited to host our inaugural Salta Summit – a full–day offsite for the entire team that saw informative keynote presentations, insightful panel discussions, business strategy updates and team activities.  

Held at W Melbourne, our Managing Director Sam Tarascio kicked off the day by taking a deep dive into the Salta vision, mission and purpose. It is an exciting time for us here at Salta, with our strategic and diverse business model seeing us go from strength-to-strength, with a $3.5 billion portfolio of assets on our balance sheet, and a future pipeline of projects exceeding $7 billion.  

The power of our people and fostering relationships at Salta is an essential part of our success, and we were lucky to be joined by some of our industry’s most respected and knowledgeable figures for a series of informative keynotes and panel discussions throughout the day. 

This included Macquarie Group’s Global Head of Real Estate Strategy, David Roberts, who gave us some valuable insights into the economic state-of-play, Greenshoot Consulting Principal Jeremy Gaden who took us on an educational journey on the importance of authentic First Nations collaboration, as well as Managing Director of JLL Kate Pilgrim, Director of TMX Transform, Justin Fried, and Lead Partner at Gray Puksand, Heidi Smith who took part in a thought-provoking panel discussion on the importance of understanding one of our most important stakeholders – the customer.

We were also thrilled to be joined by the all-inspiring journalist, host and author, Leigh Sales, who so openly and candidly shared with us her wisdom as one of our nation’s most accomplished storytellers.  

With many strong coffees, tasty treats and thought-provoking team bonding challenges we finished the day in style with celebrations at Bar Curious, where we had the chance to connect, reflect and celebrate some of our Salta team members with our annual awards program, recognising some of the outstanding work and contributions to Salta’s success. 

It was an incredible day out with the entire Salta team, and we already can’t wait for our next Salta Summit in 2025!
